B17: The Beach

The 100 Vouchers Project was kicked off today with a visit to the Beach licensed cafe in North Shore for lunch. You can’t actually see the beach from the cafe. Rather, I believe it’s named after the Beach Road that it is on. Though there is no beach view, the place is quite nice. The staff are quite friendly as well. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t to my liking. The pork belly that I had was quite nice, but I found the flavour a tad too intense. That’s my only complaint. The mocha was served with a mini bar of dark chocolate. The first time I’ve seen it. The chocolate was a nice touch.

Would I go back? Highly unlikely. But, the place was really busy; so some people obviously like this cafe.

The voucher was for 25 percent off; up to NZD 30. We saved NZD 21.25. There were three of us, in case you’re wondering.
